We Need A Miracle is a powerful worship song that declares faith in the unchanging nature of God, His miracle-working power, and the authority of Jesus’ name. Rooted in Scripture, it invites believers to trust God’s ability to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.
VERSE 1
You’re the same God today
And the same God tomorrow
Help me see the victory
You already see
Let my faith be today
What it will be tomorrow
When I’ve seen the victory
You already see
PRE CHORUS
Ohh
Jesus I believe ohh
CHORUS
We need a miracle
You are the miracle maker
God of the impossible
There is no power greater
Exceeding abundant
Beyond what we
Could ask or think
We call on Your name Jesus
VERSE 2
By the power of Your name
And all for Your glory
The sick are healed
The soul is filled
The battle has been won
On Your promise I stand
And in faith I believe it
That what I pray
In Your name
It’s already done
PRE CHORUS
Ohh
Let Your will be done ohh
CHORUS
We need a miracle
You are the miracle maker
God of the impossible
There is no power greater
Exceeding abundant
Beyond what we
Could ask or think
We call on Your name Jesus
BRIDGE
In the waiting
You get the glory
In the healing
You get the glory
In the breaking
You get the glory
In the breakthrough
You get the glory
REFRAIN
You get the glory
You get the glory
You get the glory
You get the glory
TAG
We call on Your name Jesus

God Never Changes
“You’re the same God today and the same God tomorrow” points to God’s unchanging nature, as declared in Hebrews 13:8, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.” This affirms that God’s character and power are consistent across time, providing a firm foundation for trust.
“We need a miracle, You are the miracle maker” expresses reliance on God’s supernatural intervention. Jeremiah 32:27 supports this with, “Behold, I am Yahweh, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?” It acknowledges God’s power to act beyond human limits.
“Exceeding abundant beyond what we could ask or think” reflects Ephesians 3:20, which praises God as “able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.” This underscores faith in God’s limitless ability.
“By the power of Your name… it’s already done” is grounded in John 14:13-14, where Jesus says, “Whatever you will ask in my name, I will do it.” This affirms the authority of Christ’s name in prayer and healing.
