More Than Able (Elevation Worship)

More Than Able is a faith-filled declaration that God still performs miracles and is more than able. The lyrics center on trusting in God’s power, remembering His past faithfulness, and believing in the impossible through His grace.

VERSE 1
When did I start to forget
All of the great things you did
When did I throw away faith for the impossible

How did I start to believe
You weren’t sufficient for me
Why do I talk myself out of seeing miracles

CHORUS
You are more than able
You are more than able
You are more than able
You are more than able
Who am I to deny what the Lord can do

VERSE 2
Now I see all that I have
And I’ve got my confidence back
I put my trust in the one who still does miracles
You do miracles

CHORUS
You are more than able
You are more than able
You are more than able
You are more than able
Who am I to deny what the Lord can do

BRIDGE
Can you imagine
with all of the faith in the room
what the Lord can do, what the Lord can do
It’s gonna happen
Just let the Way Maker through
He’s gonna move, He’s gonna move

REFRAIN
Anything is possible
Anything is possible
Anything is possible
Who am I to deny what the Lord can do

VERSE 3
I’ve come a long way
I’ve seen how you work
There’s so much goodness and grace
Much more than I deserve

CHORUS
I know who I am
I can’t stay where I’m at
We’ve come this far by faith
And I just can’t turn back

TAG
You’re not done with me yet
You’re not done with me yet
There’s so much more to the story
You’re not done with me yet

God’s Power to Do the Impossible

“When did I start to forget all of the great things You did” points to the human tendency to lose sight of God’s past faithfulness. This is echoed in Psalm 103:2, which says, “Don’t forget all his benefits,” reminding believers to continually recall God’s goodness.

“You are more than able” affirms God’s unlimited power, supported by Ephesians 3:20, which says God is able to do immeasurably more than we ask or imagine. It declares trust in His ability to work beyond natural limits.

“I put my trust in the One who still does miracles” reflects faith in the active power of God, consistent with Hebrews 13:8, which proclaims, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.”

“Who am I to deny what the Lord can do” is a confession of humility, acknowledging God’s sovereignty and limitless power, supported by Luke 1:37, “For nothing will be impossible with God.”
