I can’t see where I’m going
The lines are blurred but you’re showing me love
Love in the midst of the dark
VERSE 2
I don’t know what you’re doing
But blindly I am pursuing you now
Good Shepherd, lead my heart
PRE CHORUS
Come and do what you wanna do
You will do what only you can do

I wanna be where you are
No matter how far it takes me
Lead through the dark
My hope, you will not forsake me
Oh, I will trust in You
Oh, I will trust in You

I don’t know where you’re taking me
But I know that You’re making me like You
The old is washed away

I know you won the beginning and end
Jesus, You are here now

Oh, I will trust in You

Walking by Faith
“I can’t see where I’m going” reflects a posture of walking by faith, not by sight, as seen in 2 Corinthians 5:7: “for we walk by faith, not by sight.” Trusting God even in uncertainty demonstrates a faith that relies on His leading rather than visible outcomes.
“Good Shepherd, lead my heart” draws directly from John 10:11, where Jesus says, “I am the good shepherd.” This reveals the singer’s desire for Christ’s guidance, trusting His care and direction like sheep trust their shepherd.
“I wanna be where you are” echoes the longing expressed in Psalm 84:10, “For a day in your courts is better than a thousand elsewhere,” showing that God’s presence is the ultimate desire and goal.
“No fear of the grave” proclaims victory over death, grounded in 1 Corinthians 15:55–57, which celebrates Christ’s triumph: “O death, where is your sting?” Through Jesus, the fear of death is overcome.
“I will trust in You” captures the core of the song’s message, rooted in Proverbs 3:5: “Trust in Yahweh with all your heart.”
