Pista (Musikatha)

Pista is a worship celebration of God’s kabutihan (goodness), katapatan (faithfulness), and kaligtasan (salvation) through Jesus Christ. The lyrics exalt the one true Redeemer and recognize Him as the sole source of every blessing.

CHORUS
Pista ng iyong kabutihan
Pista ng iyong katapatan
Pinagdiriwang namin
Nag iisang Diyos
Aming manunubos, Hesus
Pista ng iyong kabutihan
Pista ng iyong katapatan
Pinagdiriwang namin
Nag iisang Diyos
Aming manunubos, Hesus

VERSE
Sa lahat ng panahon
Dapat ipagbunyi
Ikaw lang, Panginoon
Ng mga ani
Sa ‘yo lang nagmumula
Lahat naming pagpapala
Sa ‘yo lang ibibigay
Tanging pagki lala

CHORUS
Pista ng iyong kabutihan
Pista ng iyong katapatan
Pinagdiriwang namin
Nag iisang Diyos
Aming manunubos, Hesus
Pista ng iyong kabutihan
Pista ng iyong katapatan
Pinagdiriwang namin
Nag iisang Diyos
Aming manunubos, Hesus

BRIDGE
Dulot mo’y katuwiran, kagalakan, kalakasan, at kasaganaan
Dulot mo’y katuwiran, kagalakan, kalakasan, at kasaganaan
Dulot mo’y katuwiran, kagalakan, kalakasan, at kasaganaan
Dulot mo’y katuwiran, kagalakan, kalakasan, at kasaganaan
Du lot mo sa ‘ki’y kaligtasan

God’s Unfailing Goodness

“Pista ng ‘yong kabutihan” celebrates the goodness of God. This reflects Psalm 145:9, “The Lord is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.” It is a declaration that God’s goodness is worth joyful celebration, acknowledging His generous and faithful nature.

“Pista ng ‘yong katapatan” highlights God’s faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22–23 says, “Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed… great is your faithfulness.” This phrase shows trust in God’s unwavering commitment to His people throughout all seasons.

“Nag-iisang Diyos, Aming Manunubos, Hesus” affirms that Jesus is the one true God and Redeemer. Isaiah 43:11 states, “I, even I, am the Lord, and apart from me there is no savior.” This recognizes Christ’s unique role in salvation.

“Sa ‘yo lang nagmumula lahat naming pagpapala” expresses the truth that all blessings come from God alone, aligning with James 1:17: “Every good and perfect gift is from above.”

“Dulot mo’y katuwiran, kagalakan, kalakasan, at kasaganaan” declares the gifts God gives—righteousness, joy, strength, and abundance. These align with passages like Romans 14:17 and Nehemiah 8:10.
