My Hallelujah (Bethel Music)

My Hallelujah is a worship song centered on surrender, spiritual longing, and God’s overwhelming glory. With lyrics that express love, reverence, and the Spirit’s help when words fall short, the song beautifully declares a life fully yielded in worship.

VERSE 1
I may not understand
But I can hardly stand in Your presence
I fall to my knees
The weight of endless glory
It’s almost too much for me to bear
What else could compare

CHORUS
Let my hallelujah be a heart surrendered
Let my whole life sing how I love You, I love You
When my words fall short and I have nothing more
Let my whole life sing how I love You, I love You

VERSE 2
There’s nothing I could say
When there’s nothing left to pray
It’s Your Spirit that rises within me
It’s deeper than my thoughts
Better than my best of intentions
Oh deep cries to deep

BRIDGE
You can have all my moments
All my days
I give You all my worship, Jesus

Worship Through Surrender

“I fall to my knees, the weight of endless glory” reflects a biblical posture of reverence before God’s majesty. In Scripture, the glory of God often causes a physical response of humility and awe. Ezekiel 1:28 and Revelation 1:17 both show individuals falling before God’s glory, overwhelmed by His presence.

“Let my hallelujah be a heart surrendered” expresses worship flowing from a life fully yielded to God. Romans 12:1 urges believers to offer their bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable, which is their spiritual worship. True hallelujah is more than words—it is the posture of the heart.

“It’s Your Spirit that rises within me” affirms the Holy Spirit’s empowering presence when human strength is exhausted. Romans 8:26 says the Spirit helps in our weakness, interceding for us when we do not know what to pray.

“Deep cries to deep” echoes Psalm 42:7, describing a soul’s longing for God that surpasses words, connecting Spirit to spirit.
