Made For More declares the believer’s identity in Christ, the power of resurrection life, and freedom from shame. Anchored in grace, the lyrics proclaim that we are called by name, made new, and destined for more than our past.

Identity in Christ
“I know who I am ‘cause I know who You are” reflects the biblical truth that identity is found in knowing God. According to John 1:12, those who receive Christ become children of God, and their identity is secured in Him.
“The cross of salvation was only the start” points to the foundational role of Jesus’ crucifixion, not only securing forgiveness but launching a new life in Christ. Romans 6:4 teaches that believers are raised to walk in newness of life through Christ’s resurrection.
“I wasn’t made to be tending a grave” expresses the believer’s calling to live in resurrection power, not spiritual death. Colossians 3:1–3 calls Christians to set their minds on things above because they have been raised with Christ.
“You buried my past, I’m not going back” echoes the promise of redemption and transformation. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that in Christ, old things pass away and all things become new.
