Holy Song (Bethel Music)

Holy Song is a worship anthem declaring the holiness, worthiness, and eternal reign of Christ our King. Anchored in Scripture, it celebrates God’s presence, His faithful leadership, and the glory revealed in worship both now and forever.

VERSE 1
What joy to know You Lord, to walk within Your ways
To live beneath the shadow of Your wing
Faithful You will lead me and I won’t fear a thing
You alone my song will always be

CHORUS
Holy, holy, holy
Is the Lord God Almighty
Worthy, worthy, worthy
All of the earth is full of Your glory

VERSE 2
What mercy to me Lord, to choose me for Your own
That You would make my heart Your dwelling place
And when I stand in glory and we are face to face
Surely then my song will be the same

TAG 1
All of the earth is full of Your glory

BRIDGE
Worthy now to receive
Power and wisdom and majesty
Unto You, Christ our King
Splendor and honor eternally

TAG 2
Yours forever
Yours forever

VERSE 3
What beauty to behold there before the throne
As all of earth and heaven hail the King
The Lion and the Lamb, our God the great I AM
To You alone our song forever be
To You alone our song forever be

Walking in God’s Presence

“What joy to know You Lord, to walk within Your ways” expresses the delight of knowing God intimately and living in obedience to Him. Psalm 16:11 says, “You will show me the path of life. In your presence is fullness of joy. In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.” This reveals the joy that comes from walking with God.

“Faithful You will lead me and I won’t fear a thing” reflects trust in God’s constant guidance. Psalm 23:4 reminds us, “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me.” The lyrics affirm this biblical truth of God’s faithful presence.

“Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty” directly quotes Revelation 4:8, where heavenly beings continually worship God’s holiness. This phrase centers the song on the eternal truth of God’s perfect nature.

“That You would make my heart Your dwelling place” echoes 1 Corinthians 3:16, which says believers are God’s temple and that His Spirit dwells within.
