Christ as Our Source and Satisfaction
“We’re returning to repentance” expresses a heart turning back to God in humility and surrender. This reflects Acts 3:19, “Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out.” Repentance is foundational in Christian life, marking a turning away from sin and toward Christ.
“Christ is our portion” reveals deep spiritual satisfaction found in Jesus alone. Lamentations 3:24 says, “The Lord is my portion,” affirming that Jesus is enough for every need and desire.
“Christ is the center of our lives” conveys the core theme: Christ’s lordship over all. Colossians 1:17-18 declares, “He is before all things…so that in everything He might have the supremacy,” confirming Jesus as the rightful center of all life.
“You are healing all division” reflects Christ’s role as reconciler. Ephesians 2:14 says, “He himself is our peace…has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,” showing that unity comes through Him.
