Echo (In Jesus Name) is a Christian worship song that proclaims breakthrough, healing, and spiritual authority in Jesus’ name. Celebrating freedom, miracles, and victory, the song echoes the believer’s role in declaring God’s power on earth.
VERSE 1
You moved the mountains
Told the wind and waves be still
You cast out demons
And bid the empty soul be filled
PRE CHORUS
And now there’s breakthrough
Now there’s freedom in Your name
You gave us power
And the keys to do the same
VERSE 2
You hold redemption
Made accusers drop their stones
You showed us mercy
With Your mighty miracles
PRE CHORUS
And now there’s breakthrough
Now there’s freedom in Your name
You gave us power
And the keys to do the same
CHORUS 1
Now we proclaim
In Jesus’ name
Walls fall down
In Jesus’ name
Strongholds break
In Jesus’ name
Amen
CHORUS 2
We are healed
In Jesus’ name
There are miracles
In Jesus’ name
Pour them out
In Jesus’ name
Amen
VERSE 3
You crushed the darkness
And made a fool of death and grave
Oh King Jesus
You make royals out of slaves
REFRAIN
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
God we echo Your authority
REFRAIN
Oh oh oh oh
Oh oh oh oh
God we echo Your victory

Spiritual Authority Through Jesus
“You moved the mountains” affirms God’s power over the natural world, reflecting Jesus’ words in Matthew 17:20, where He says that faith as small as a mustard seed can move mountains. It signifies that nothing is impossible for God.
“You gave us power and the keys to do the same” refers to the authority Jesus grants His followers. Luke 10:19 says Jesus gave His disciples authority over all the power of the enemy. Matthew 16:19 speaks of the “keys of the kingdom,” implying spiritual authority to bind and loose in Jesus’ name.
“In Jesus’ name” highlights the biblical truth that believers act through the power and authority of Christ. John 14:13–14 assures that whatever is asked in Jesus’ name will be done to glorify the Father. This underscores the power and effectiveness of prayer and action rooted in Christ.
“God we echo Your authority” means believers reflect God’s power on earth as His representatives. 2 Corinthians 5:20 identifies Christians as ambassadors of Christ, continuing His mission.
